Our journey into the world of neurodivergence began when our son was diagnosed with ADHD at just six years old, right as he started kindergarten. Suddenly, all the things we’d been wondering about started to make a little more sense—but that didn’t make it any easier. What followed were countless hours of research, trial and error, and more conversations with doctors, therapists, and teachers than I can even count. That journey eventually brought us to another piece of the puzzle: an Autism diagnosis.
We’ve learned that being wired differently isn’t a flaw or a limitation—it’s simply part of who he is. And honestly, he’s one of the most authentic, creative, and unapologetically himself humans I’ve ever known. I know without a doubt he’s going to do incredible things in this life.
This blog is a glimpse into our real, messy, beautiful life—full of learning curves, laughter, overwhelm, growth, and a whole lot of grace. I share our story in hopes that someone else out there feels a little less alone, a little more understood, and maybe even a little more hopeful.
If you’re navigating ADHD, Autism, or just the wild, unpredictable ride of parenting—you belong here. Grab a cup of coffee, explore the blog, and know that you’ve found a space where being real is always enough… and where we’re all just doing the best we can.
